Doc Martin is a catchy comedy drama starring Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly). The series follows the celebrated London surgeon, Dr. Martin Ellingham, whose truculence and tactless manner causes mayhem in a small Cornish community. After retraining as a general practitioner, he gets a job in the beautiful but sleepy village of Portwenn replacing their deceased local doctor. But his abrasive personality doesn’t exactly mesh with the pace of life in Cornwall. Beginning July 1 you can watch seasons 8 and 9 on KMOS Passport, and tune in Thursday nights at 9:00.

In Season 8, Dr. Martin Ellingham (Martin Clunes, Manhunt) and his wife, Louisa (Caroline Catz, DCI Banks), are finally living together again with their son, James Henry, but their problems are far from over. As some relationships bloom and others falter, can Martin cope with all the changes — or will he risk the fragile accord he's forged with his family.

Season 8 will re-air July 6 - August 31 as lead-in to the KMOS premiere of Season 9.

In Season 9, Martin Clunes (Manhunt) is back as the titular Doc Martin aka Dr. Martin Ellingham and all regular members of the cast will be reprising their roles. Martin's career hangs in the balance as he faces scrutiny from the General Medical Council following complaints about his approach to patients.

Season 9 will air on KMOS beginning September 7, and will be available on KMOS Passport starting July 1.
