A senior at UCM studying Digital Media Production with an emphasis in News, Alex has worked at KMOS-TV for over a year and a half as a producer for University Magazine. He has also announced football, volleyball and men's basketball for the UCM Media Network. Prior to attending UCM, Alex attended MCC - Longview in his hometown of Lee's Summit, Missouri. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper The Longview Current from 2011-2012. While Editor-in-Chief, Alex won two Missouri College Media Association awards for his writing and his video show The Current Spotlight. He graduated with an Associate in Arts in 2012. Alex has a passion for telling stories. He loves to cheer on the UCM Mules and Jennies, Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. Alex spends his free time working at KMOS-TV, playing electric guitar, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Also a senior at UCM, she has announced, and provided sideline reports, for the UCM Media Network at volleyball, football, and both men's and women's basketball events. In addition, she has anchored and reported for UCM News. Devin previously attended Metropolitan Community College, from where she received an Associates of Arts in December of 2011. She later attended Missouri Western State University to pursue a career in criminal justice, but had a change of heart. In the fall of 2012 she appeared at UCM and found her niche for sideline reporting. The Missouri native attended Grain Valley High School where she was a cheerleader for both football and basketball. Prior to high school she played softball, and took classes in dance and gymnastics. She has a love for athletics and loves to cheer on the UCM Mules and Jennies, Oklahoma Sooners, Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Her free time is spent helping with the UCM Media Network and being surrounded by her family and friends along with her two Jack Russell Terriers, Sophie and Spanky.
A junior at UCM studying Digital Media Productions with an emphasis in News. She started working at KMOS-TV her sophomore year. "From that experience I have learned so much about creating stories, camera work, editing, and live productions. The opportunity to be a sideline reporter for Sportspage is another element of digital media production that I am eager to learn about and explore. My dream is to move to California and become the next Oprah!"
A sophomore at UCM, Briana is majoring in Digital Media Production with an emphasis in News, and a minor in Sociology. After volunteering for a semester as a production assistant, and running all the crew positions during live sporting events for UCM's video boards, Briana has recently been hired to serve as a student producer for KMOS-TV. "After college I plan to pursue a career in television broadcasting, and become a TV anchor for a major network. I absolutely love being a student producer and having the opportunity to sideline report to gain extra experience for my future career goals."
