On January 21, 2004 KMOS broadcast the premiere of this landmark documentary, aimed at helping us better understand and cope with the fearsome disease of Alzheimer's. Immediately following, KMOS Live: The Forgetting brought together representatives from several organizations to help Missourians find assistance to help if and when Alzheimer's affects their loved ones.

The panel was comprised of (l-r): Rebecca Argilagos, Penny Braun, Diana Hoemann, moderator Dorothy McGrath, Cynthia Crawford and Marilyn Harding. Several call screeners (full list below) were in the studio to provide assistance to people who called in. Read a transcript of the program.
The discussion, moderated by Dorothy McGrath, included information about the services available to families and caregivers, basic information on Alzheimer's disease, answers to viewer questions and guidance to sources of more information and assistance.
